Get the purse.

But only do it because you love her and want to please her.

If the motive is for YOU to benefit from this gift at some future date...you are doing it for the wrong reason anyway.

Get her the purse, be sincere, and be thankful that God has given you such a wonderful person to spend your life with.

Purse, Purse, Purse......

:???: what is this REAL ADVICE!!!???!?!? LOL

Nope.

It's just in case my wife sees the post.

Been married 24 wonderful years....so I'm not gonna make any "rookie" mistakes. (Hear that jbirds)

I do have to agree though....

it's been nice this last month, i got the best of both worlds...
purchased a nice little sig p230 for the wife :)

but i agree with the idea that if she WANTS the purse... get it for her, not because it means you'll get the 1911 later, but because you want to.

 (married 32 years and know what the real answer is)
No, you don't. Buy your wife an el cheapo purse and you'll still be in the doghouse.

I bought the purse since I spent a little more than I said I would for the mods on my 1911.
