I remember the post about the visitor from Louisiana. My google-fu is strong, but I couldn't find it either.

You guys need to stop sniffing that #9
Back to the topic....it IS NOT LEGAL and if it happened to me I would be in to see the Chief (in person) the very next morning!
Also, I carry two loaded mags in my console as spares, not for this reason, but they would work out well in this case.

How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Oh,
Well, I've been wondering where he has been lately. Usually he has some interesting insight into some of these legal matters.

Re: Police stealing your ammo?
That's certainly a similar story, but it's not the one I (and seemingly many others) recall. The one we recall is the story of a visitor from out of state (I believe Louisiana, as stated earlier) whose ammo was confiscated by a LEO in the process of a traffic stop. Not recovered from a theft.G.A. Heath wrote:My Search-Fu is most powerful indeed. http://www.texasshooting.com/TexasCHL_F ... &sk=t&sd=a

Remember, in a life-or-death situation, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
