Sometimes it seems like they don't hardly make people like that anymore, and then you meet one of our sons or daughters in uniform, and it is uplifting and gives you hope for our future.

Yes it does. Son of a very good friend of mine, and someone I also consider a friend. recently was submitted for a bronze star with V for retrieving a wounded soldier, administering immediate first aid and applying an IV, all while under heavy fire.
