Has anyone documented that they are are really trying to pass this law? I can't find anything in Google. Its seems strange that no news media would pick up on any consideration of such an absurd law.

Rumors of possible city council actions in a town of <2,000 don't typically hit the wire services.

Perhaps, but my observation is that those who press forward with outlandish laws and ordinances usually are out to get as much press as they can. The media typically would jump on a story such as this. I can see the teaser on Fox News now "Texas town declares war on guns!"

In a way I I hope its true. I haven't been to a good old fashioned protest with guns and everything in about 40 years. Could be fun. :patriot: I really regret missing the famous Joe Horn Event. This would be like a second chance.
