I have an XD45 and a sub compact XD40 I love them both mainly carry the 40 because the 45 is a bit hard to hide without a jacket but it is always in my truck and when it is cool enough for a jacket I will carry the big gun and regardless of the gun I always carry the spare mag I feel safer with extra ammo
It is easier to get an airport security clearance than a CHL

Yep. I've got the Hogue slip-on grip on my XD45 Service, but I carefully cut out the back portion of the grip to allow the safety to still function as it was designed. No problems!ml1209 wrote:Has anyone done this with their XD?
