Well, at least you won't be skeered to get a few scratches on it, like those nickle plated sissy pistols some people carry...

LOL!The Church of John Moses Browning.
Services are held daily at the range.
Any range - Any time.
Tithes are paid in lead. Or brass.
Sacraments include:
Bulseye, three gun, combat, IPSC...
Carry today and be saved tomorrow!

Now, being a gambling town, the collection plates at those churches tend to receive mostly casino chips from the patrons of the various casinos instead of cash - so the sisters send these chips away to a monastery for sorting by casino-name so they can cash in the chips more easily.
The guys at the monastery are therefore known as the "chip monks"

RANGE REPORT:
First 100 rounds through the RI 1911A1 today at lunch. I had only brought 50 rounds to the range, but had enough time so I bought another 50.
3 failure to feed (all 100 were FMJ ammo) out of 100. Not bad. We'll see how it does after another 100 rounds, and with a few other magazines. All 100 were with the Novak mag that came with the gun.
On another note, GI sights are hard as hell to see in an indoor range. That being said, the gun seemed more accurate then the shooter, for now.
Funny story: When I paid out, I made a comment about the greater muzzle flash I got from the Blazer ammo then the WWB ammo I had brought. The guy behind the counter said the man 2 stalls down from me was complaining that the Blazer was jamming his Kimber 1911. I told him "funny, my Rock Island seemed to do just fine with it."
