So... when are we going to start construction on our bunker out in the countryside somewhere? Like Magnolia/Navasota area?
I'm thinking Brewster would be a good place to build the bomb shelter. Not to many people live out there. It's pretty dry though. :biggrinjester:

No, I don't think so. The entire population of the county is only 9,400. It's the largest county in Texas, in the Big Bend area. Bigger than many states up north. ;-)

Problem is getting there when a disaster strikes. If you're like me and USA1, getting out of the Houston area will be nigh impossible. Just remember the mess that was the Rita Evacuation.

That's why I'm planning on investing in a nice Dual-sport motorcycle that I can use to get out of the city when all the motorways are jammed.

... Just gotta find a way to mount a Saiga 12 to it that can be belt or drum-fed, for tearing through hordes of the undead/nuclear irradiated ghouls/mutated pig flu virus zombies/etc.
Also have to mount a rear-facing seat on the back so the wife can watch our six with her shotgun as we flee.
