Little delayed, sorry! Been busy. Shot it today, and it functioned like a champ. It was dead on POA and POI, and didn't have a single misfeed or malfunction. Sweet shooter all around....now if only it were a little easier to take apart and put back together. :grumble

I have a 22/45 set up with a cheap red dot. I have shot it more than any other gun I own and it keeps on ticking. The only bad part is figuring out how to field strip it the first time. Do yourself a favor, buy one of these:

Shot 333 rounds today...minus a few duds....and this thing was a champ! A buddy of mine had some double feeds and non-feeds which made me nervous at first. Then I thought about it and told him to slap the mags in because I noticed that he just pushed them in originally. We both had some stovepipes but maybe 3 total. After that, the only hangups were the occasional dud round but thats no surprise in an brick box of .22. I can only further recommend Ruger as a great firearm manufacturer and still one of the best customer service experiences, period!

I love mine that I picked up last weekend. And you ain't kidding about stripping and cleaning it. Hardest gun to figure out how to make it work once you get it back together. Didn't point the barrel up .. or down at the right point and it would seize. Finally got it together again...after it bit my left index finger! Mean little buger.
