Re: These LEOs opting for something other than the 23 - what do they prefer to carry and why? Just curious.

I think they have the option of a 22 or 23 most of the time. It really comes down to a combination of personal preference and whatever requirements the department has in place. I've seen other Glocks, Kimbers, Springfield 1911s, XDs, XDm, Sigs, HKs - all 9mm and up. I haven't seen any M&Ps, but wouldn't be surprised to see them as well.

Good choice, I also like tha' Speer Gold Dots ... especially in tha' 40 S&W 180 gr. (GDHP) ...BUT ....
I prefer my .45 ammo being ole' Remington's Golden Saber 230 gr. ( GS45APB) about 26.99 box of 25.
Have ya' looked into those points ?

Nah - I have absolutely no say. There's pleny of better trained people than me. I know that I'll be issued quality kit with my dept and I won't have to pay a dime for anything besides boots if I don't want to....

OBV I'm a gear head so I buy stuff all the time to hang on my belt or my gun or my rifle....but that's a whole 'nother medical condition.
