The Guadalupe County grand jury met June 4 and handed up aggravated assault and attempted murder indictments against Codi Denice Warrick, 39, and Eric D. Ward, 42.

Police believe one of the suspects fired a handgun in the incident, while the other used a brass knuckles or similar device to inflict the injuries.
[Destini] Wooster and [Aurora] Herrera were booked on allegations of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and are being held in lieu of $80,000 bail.
The victim, who was flown to University Hospital with major face and head injuries, has reportedly suffered partial paralysis and was originally listed in critical condition.
