Definitely!!

I've never been in close proximity, so can't speak for what happens up close. I would imagine all of the show officials rushing to the scene.

But from across the room, there is silence as everyone looks around. Then things slowly return to normal, with maybe a comment about hoping no one got hurt. One, I don't remember which, did result in a leg wound.

First one was at Pasadena way before the shows moved to the convention center. Shows used to be held in a small building back by the rodeo arena.

It sure sounds like he intentionally failed to conceal.

He was at a gun related event, much like a range or shooting event. People at ranges are open carrying as well. Open carry wouldnt likely be allowed in the parking lot but past the doors has never been an issue. However, the rare occasions I didnt declare I stayed concealed. And when i do declare I unload and stick the mag and loose round in my pocket (in the car) as I am not carrying cash and a gun unloaded to/from the show.

But if the hand is in front of the barrel, how will it turn the cylinder? :biggrinjester:

BTW, what exactly is a "trigger barrel"?
I've avoided this thread until now, but my curiosity overcame my caution, and I am left with exactly the same question. Why didn't I listen to my better nature?

In closing: that fool would have likely shot himself at home or in the car anyway, so his foolishness says nothing really one way or the other about 30.06 at gun shows.

This will only hurt a little. What comes next, more so.
