Yep, just like we say here. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story!longtooth wrote:I remember. As a young man I was transferred to Carlsbad NM for a short. My son was born there. If you decide to get a Texas CHL, make sure you take the class with a good instructor. There are some who teach their fantasy instead of reality, and misinformation can be worse than ignorance.armueller2001 wrote:Thanks for the advice and the warm welcome... i am planning on getting an updated Florida CHL with my Texas address on it and I will just use that for 2.5 years until it expires.. looking at crossbreed and MTAC Holsters now. Thanks again!
That is too true. Look at some of the questions newbies post here which should be crystal clear after the class has been taken. Quality instructors are outnumbered by the ones in it for a quick buck.Cobra Medic wrote:If you decide to get a Texas CHL, make sure you take the class with a good instructor. Then Illinois ships it back to Texas to hand out to the next guy entering -- Its the cycle of life...The Annoyed Man wrote:I heard that Illinois is the other way around.
