Is someone assuming that no members of this forum are Democrats?

You'd think, wouldn't you? Although I love this forum and hang out here a lot... it does get a little thick in that respect and makes responding while controlling seething emotions tough once in a while.
Me?
Voted Democratic ticket in last election, Pro-gun "Moderate" Liberal, Would like to see Health Care improved, Vietnam-Era Veteran (USAF), FFL03, CHL, Competitive Shooter, Hunter, NRA Member.

My earlier comment was more tongue-in-cheek. I apologize if I offended anyone. Although I am a registered Republican, I will vote with my conscience - so I'm really an Independent. We are Americans first.

The internet is a wonderful communication device that fails to fully express our sentiments. I too like to throw ironic/sarcastic/etc. statements out there that also fail to express what I would like.
Just look at any of my previous posts and you will see that I suffer the same ignominous fate.

Someone should ask Mayor Hurst how long it will be before his picture appears on this site:

We all should check the voting record of our State Reps and see where they stand on 2nd Amendment. I will ask our Mayor next time I see him. I am a hourly paid employee as well. Round Rock Texas here

When they pass the hat my way, I won't give either one a dime.

But you, we, should be doing that all the time, not just in these troubled times. And while we're at it, we need to check where they stand on any other issues that matter to us as individuals, whether it be taxation, civil rights, abortion, or whatever. We should never just take the media's word for it, because they lie whenever their lips move or their fingers type, or whenever they print pages.

Citizens abdicating their responsibilities as voters to be fully informed about the issues and the candidates is exactly why we have the mess we have today.

Ain't that the truth!
I have fewer to give these days, thanks to R's and D's, so I'll just keep 'em for now. :tiphat:
