Nice to finally have the project finished!

I actually did find a NIB Super SS 22/22mag 6 1/2" old model on Gunbroker. Paid a little more than I wanted but it was just as described. I haven't shot it yet and still don't have a decent holster I would be seen with! Gotta save up to get a Lawrence rig but I'll be lucky if it's as nice as yours and then a belt in my waist size. If you ever run across a SS with a notch on the grip it could be mine!doc540 wrote:What a story!!
I carried mine and shot thousands of rounds without a second thought of leaving an empty chamber. Lucky!!
I searched high and low for a nice, old Lawrence rig and ended up buying first the holster (hard to find for the 4 5/8" guns, but more common for 5 1/2" and up) then the belt from the same guy on gunbroker.
I had to give all the money for gun, then holster, then belt, but it's worth it after all these years.
Old Rugers and fast draw rigs are out there, so go on ahead and buy one cause they ain't gonna get more plentiful or cheaper.
Tell your wife Doc said it's "ok".
Congrats on the NIB SS!puma guy wrote:I actually did find a NIB Super SS 22/22mag 6 1/2" old model on Gunbroker. Paid a little more than I wanted but it was just as described. Have you seen all the Lawrence rigs on gunbroker? Same guy must have two dozen of them.
He'll fix you right up for about $120-$150 for both belt and holster.
