Yes, go to your gun show, but do go EARLY. All the good stuff and inexpensive stuff is sold out within the first hour. Online bargains aren't really bargains when you figure in FFL fees and shipping. Plus, I got ripped off once buying on that green colored gun auction site. Nothing beats being able to fondle the piece before you buy it.
Best places to buy guns (best listed first);
1. This forum (you can meet at the range and test fire it before you buy it)
2. Gun Shows (haggle and show up early)
3. Gunsamerica website (be patient, it'll eventually be on sale)
4. Dick's/Academy/Cabela's black friday sales
5. Pawn shops (be patient, it'll eventually be on sale)
6. Gun shops (worst place price wise, but best place to try before you buy at a gun store/range).
7. Gun shops with no range (worst place price wise, but if they help you and answer you dumb questions, then buy from them)
