Encyclopedic?? My good man, any true 1911 fan knows that date; I even had it tattooed onto my first-born.

(Ok, so I'm kidding about the last part - it was a brand, not a tattoo, but..)

Seriously... I've seen your thorough/detailed feedback on MANY posts... If I ever need to hand fit a new 1911 thumb safety, I believe I could confidently do it given the instructions you posted in that thread.
