Happy Birth Year 1911?

Post by 68Charger »

100 years and still looking oh-so beautiful.

Someone should resurrect the 1911 beauties thread so we can see all the finest ones out there again.

Happy shooting! :fire

I haven't been here long, but Sir, I am honestly awestruck by your encyclopedic knowledge of firearms and firearms history... :tiphat:

Encyclopedic?? My good man, any true 1911 fan knows that date; I even had it tattooed onto my first-born.

(Ok, so I'm kidding about the last part - it was a brand, not a tattoo, but..)
Seriously... I've seen your thorough/detailed feedback on MANY posts... If I ever need to hand fit a new 1911 thumb safety, I believe I could confidently do it given the instructions you posted in that thread.

In case nobody's told you, those posts are interesting even when they are not specifically helpful to me. THANKS.!
Branding is painful.. At least you chose artwork that will never go out of style.. He'll thank you later in life.. :smilelol5:

And back on topic... every time I see this thread pop up, I Sooooo want to change the title to "Happy Centennial 1911"
