See, that's my problem. I don't get a Glock clean in 5 minutes. I spend a lot of time on it, and get it thoroughly clean. I always set out to do a quick 5 minute clean, but it never works out that way.
That is like doing a full detail on a dirt bike the week before you go to ride trails. Its just going to get dirty again, so hit it with the water hose and knock the chunks and get back at it.

Until you get to the point that it's so dirty that you have a failure. Which I can almost promise you , will not happen at a "good time." Maybe I'm paranoid, but I won't risk it.
1 shot or 1000- if I pull the trigger on a live round, it gets cleaned.
