I loaded 5 rounds of Winchester 2 3/4" 7 1/2 shot aimed and fired, first shot was good, pumped another round pulled the trigger and click,

I am going to call Mossberg tomorrow but I wanted to get feedback here first.
Please share what the problem and the fix were!MoJo wrote:I traded it and was open about the problems. The dealer I traded to said he would fix it and then sell it. Ditto here. I just bought one at a pawn shop for trading. I haven't had a chance to shoot it., but it's in really good condition so I just assumed it was good to go. I'd be interested in any fixes in case it doesn't go boom.sailor2000 wrote:Please share what the problem and the fix were!MoJo wrote:I traded it and was open about the problems. That is very concerning. I don't think that I would trust it as a self defense weapon.papajohn1964 wrote:Mine is at Mossberg being repaired now. It took 4 phone calls and 9 days to get the shipping label from them and now they are saying 2 weeks for the repair! Not very good considering its a BRAND NEW shotgun. If its a easy fix maybe they should contract local shops to fix them.
Looking forward to hearing the range report. I still haven't been able to get to the range to check the Maverick I bought. I have to do it ASAP because I'm working a trade for vintage Rem 1100 20ga.papajohn1964 wrote:Got it back yesterday and the receipt says that they replaced the trigger assembly. I'll find out on Sunday if it's fixed.
