Thanks for mentioning that one – I had forgotten it or I'd not heard it!308nato wrote:I also stopped using Google when in order to set up in china they made it easier to track down any online dissenters that use the words like freedom,democracy or any other free thinking ideas. when confronted

Good for you…you’re voting with your dollars and in the commercial market place money talks, and everything else walks. But it’s not clear that Google or Blockbuster know you “voted.tsteven1 wrote:Gunners;
I use Yahoo Search, instead of Google.
I no longer rent at Blockbuster.

And the office manager lady has told me that she's seen limpers like me reading the aforementioned.
First I've heard of it. What is it?tsteven1 wrote:I forgot to mention... I have been using the NRA Institute for Legislative Action, (ILA,) card since I first heard of it.
My barbershop is also all wimmin-folk. (Only the owner is a barber; the rest are beauticians, and you can thank the restrictive Texas Barbering Commission for that. The only meaningful difference in the two licenses is using a razor to shave; reasonable people might think that changing from beautician to barber would only require demonstrating proficiency at shaving, but the Barbering Commission is not reasonable at all. They'd have to take the entire two years of study all over again.)lrb111 wrote:On the magazine note i frequent a barber shop staffed by all female barbers. They aren't particularly pro gun, fishing hunting, or even sports. I've offered to stock them with tasteful 'oriented' material. :-)

Anyhoo, this five-gal barbershop is well stocked with Manly Reading: Outdoor Life (despite Zumbo), Popular Science, Popular Mechanics, Auto Trader, various hunting and gun mags, and American Classifieds (aka "Thrifty Nickel").
