The ultimate "Zombie" weapon...Really?

Post by v-rog »

I came across this Zombie bayonet for your pistol of choice in the Cabela's 2012 Cutlery catalog.

Several thoughts:

1) If I have to use this, than I have worse things to worry about...including my health,
2) I'd hate to see the holster for this, especially for concealed carry...,
3) I think I'd look too tacticool if I had this flashy bayonet ;-)

If you have to get that close to a zombie, you're doing something wrong.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. I mean there isn't a light or a laser site attached to the knife!! Seriously, this just isn't practical. ;-)

Solution looking for a problem. It might make it harder to accidentally shoot yourself though, at least without stabbing yourself first.

And while we're on zombies.... WHY does everything marketed as having something to do with zombies have to be that sick green color? EVERYBODY knows zombies are kind of gray and necrotic looking.

You're right, TAM Here's proof in the ultimate zombie protection house.

I guess the bright green color is just a status thing. I know for sure that I don't want a bayonet on the end of pistol. That combination has "fail" written all over it.

Whoever designed that house is an idiot. Simple metal garage door for the left side of the house (as pictured), but concrete/whatever shutters for the 2nd floor windows? Yes, let's put the more easily breach-able defense on the ground floor.

If Reddit put their heads together and came up with a zombie-proof, or even just zombie-resistant, yet aesthetic house, it would look nothing like this.

Heh, true. I was thinking about on land. Luckily if anything ever does happen, I'll already be at sea and can easily relocate to a part of the world or an island where there is no problem. I know of some really nice islands with really nice locals only accessible by sea and not air (meaning any virus would most likely present itself before the boat/ship could get there).

EDIT: I just noticed that I surpassed the 1,000 post mark for myself

The people who would need a knife on a pistol, are those who allowed people to be elected who mandated insufficient (reduced/crippled) capacity magazines, so ... they have to resort to a pistol knife.
They same market needs pepper spray mounted in the handle, and a "No Zombies allowed" Tee-shirt ... yeah the sign on the shirt, that's what's needed, a sign will stop them ... and maybe a "camera to protect them and deter evil"... and light bulbs, lots of lights ... (San Antonio College says more cameras and lights protect and deter ... bad Actions

Too bad that house is on the left coast. Otherwise, we would get a good idea of how it might stand up to an attack of Frankenstorm Sandy.

For the man (or woman) who doesn't quite have everything - a pistol bayonet would go very well with a CHL badge.

SNAPPY!
