Tote, bring your wife with you to the forum day this fall (Septemberish). I hear that some ladies that attended were convinced after a day on the range with the other shooters.

Or, just do what my dad did. Find out when the next few classes are scheduled and say, "There's a CHL class on such and such date. Want me to go ahead and call for you?"
"If a man breaks in your house, he ain't there for iced tea." Mom & Dad.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

LT and I plan to go forum day and my wife will be in Houston
visiting with her Mother or in Lufkin visiting with Mrs. LT. I'll
have to see how things workout. :?:

I wish you were closer so I could hoodwink, err set you up on a "date" with my gun-fearful girlfriend. ;-)

What's this forum day thing, and how come no one told me about it?

Cool! Is there a thread discussing this year's event? I'd really like to go.

Oh, you should go. And bring your girlfriend.

It's a lot of fun.

I plan to. And I'll try.

Where's it gonna be? If I'm real lucky, it will be the weekend of my birthday (Sep 16th), which will give me a little more leverage in getting her there. :evil2:
