The NRA chose the TSRA as the outstanding state association for 2009.

Thanks for pointing that out.
I first saw the information in the January 2010 America's First Freedom, page 56. It says the awards were presented at the September 19, 2009, Board of Directors meeting.
I guess it takes a while.
