Couldn't make it to the Dallas store that weekend - even if I could its still a good haul. I pass this place twice a day.

I've purchased several items from SWFA over the past few years. Among those things are two really good riflescopes with the SWFA brand. . . . . which you can't buy at GT Distributors.

On 287 between Midlothian and Waxahachie. Across the street from Midway airport.

Does this mean they're moving from Red Oak?

Yes. From what they've told me, there have been a number of break ins/attempted break ins and they can't get out quick enough.

I haven't talked to them since they broke ground. At that time they were thinking Thanksgiving. I would say right before Christmas - fingers crossed.

I'm retiring soon. If they opened a cigar lounge, I could hang out there 24/7. ;-)

It's a huge facility but most of it is manufacturing and warehouse space. I believe they said their showroom area will be a couple thousand sqft. This is a vast improvement over the 12x12 room with a service counter that they currently have in Red Oak.

One major problem with SWFA - being in TX, I'd get nicked for sales tax on anything I bought from them; that means there's an automatic 8.25% price differential they have to overcome vs. their competitors.
Original CHL: 2000: 56 day turnaround
1st renewal, 2004: 34 days
2nd renewal, 2008: 81 days
3rd renewal, 2013: 12 days

Only if you break the law. http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/use/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

Can't wait to browse the showroom. :hurry:

Since you drive by a couple of times each day, be sure to post when you see the OPEN sign.
