Making sure I understand, I can still ship firearms and ammo via UPS, but not a suppressor... ... ... how exactly do they know its a silencer anyway? go into any ups office and you will see why they can't make money.

They wouldn't ship the machine that makes AR15 lowers either so they're not big on logic. Those are now being shipped by the USPS. Go figure. My guess is that they're making gestures with public pronouncements not to ship items that don't generate much revenue anyway but sound nefarious to the ignorati.
